Exploring Messianic Congregation Adat Adonai

Thank you for entering my page!  Right now, you are probably searching to find out more about Jewish beliefs in Jesus.  Perhaps, you are questioning your faith, and are looking at different options. Messianic Congregation Adat Adonai is a Messianic congregation in Michigan (formerly in Ohio), presents itself as a Jewish congregation. However, in reality, they are a Christian congregation, not a Jewish congregation. I will demonstrate this, using information from their web-site and other Christian sites; each time, reference links will be provided so you can see the evidence for your own eyes.

The Rabbi

Adat Adonai is led by "Rabbi" Kirt Schneider, however, in reality he is not a Jewish leader. According to his biography on his personal website:

"Kirt enrolled in Toccoa Falls College and graduated in 1985 with a degree in Bible Theology

Here is the link to Schneider's bio where the quote is taken from, the bio is at the bottom of the page: Click Here

So, what type of schools is Toccoa Falls College? It is an evangelical Christian school. According to the Toccoa website:

"The mission of Toccoa Falls College is to glorify God through seeking and developing Christian servant leaders who will impact their world with the love and message of Jesus Christ. "

Clearly, this is a place where a Christian leader receives training-a real Jewish leader would not attend Toccoa. Here is the link to the quote: Click Here

Not surprisingly, Kirt Schneider is highly involved in Christian organizations to spread his Christian message. In fact, on another of Kirt Schneider's websites, he openly courts Christian leaders to bring him to speak and gives a lengthy list of churches that he has "ministered" in. The term "ministered" is specifically how he presents his sermons on his website. Here is the link to the proof: Click Here

Schneider was a presenter for Hannah Ministries on October 5, 2008. Here is the link to the proof: Click Here

According to the Adat Adonai website, Schneider broadcasts on WPOS, WLMB and the Church Channel. All of these broadcasters are Christian stations. Here is the link to the Adat Adonai website, the information on his broadcasts is in the middle of the page: Click Here

Here is the link to the WPOS website where it states that WPOS is a Christian radio station at the top of the page: Click Here

Also, here is the link to the Mission and Vision statement on the WLMB website. Not only is it clear that WLMB is a Christian radio station, the logo on the right side of the webpage advertises WLMB as "Toledo's Christian Station": Click Here

Schneider also broadcasts on Daystar Televison Network. Here is the link to his listing: Click Here

According to the Daystar webiste, Daystar is the "second largest Christian television network in the world." Here is the link to the quote, the quote comes from the second to last paragraph in the "A Brief History" section: Click Here

Have you ever heard of a real Jewish rabbi who spends all of his time broadcasting on Christian stations? Of course not!

Schneider also spends time promoting other Christian organizations. Schneider wrote a letter supporting Hinson International Ministries. Here is the link to the proof, he is the last letter on the page: Click Here

Who is behind Hinson International Ministries? It is Michael Hinson, a Christian leader. Here is a quote about him from their website:

Michael Hinson traveled with Charles and Frances Hunter extensively in the beginning of his ministry and later founded New Life Church where he was senior pastor for years. Since then, Michael has been teaching his unique revelations from the Word of God in Bible schools, churches and Christian conferences all around the world."

Clearly, Schneider is supporting a Christian evangelist! Here is a link to the quote: Click Here

Other Christian Activities

Moreover, Adat Adonai is an underwriter of Detroit's Christian radion, YES FM. Here is the link to the proof, Adat Adonai is the second listing on the left side of the page: Click Here

Obviously, a real Jewish congregation would never be an underwriter of a Christian radio station.

The dance group of Adat Adonai, Daughters of Zion, showed it's true Christian roots by taking part in the Christian Dance Networks Winter 2005 concert. Here is the link to the proof; the Daughters of Zion are the second group listed under "Groups dancing this evening" and the sponsorship by the Christian Dance Network is at the bottom of the page: Click Here

Great Sites, Priceless Information

Here are a number of great sites that counter missionaries and explain the differences in belief between Judaism and Christianity, including addressing the Biblical verses that missionaries try to use against the Jews and explaining why the missionaries are incorrect.
