In Canakale, we joined a two day tour and stayed at the Anzac House. This area is known due to the battle at Gallipoli during World War I. The battle occurred between the Turks and the Australians/New Zealanders. We also visited the city of Troy nearby. This famous city is the site where an intense battle occurred all for one woman, Helen.
