Athens
World of Mythical Gods

The museum at Athens is wonderful. It fulfills all your mythological dreams. Both Holly and I fell in love there with the same boy. It was bust of this gorgeous young male that lived back in the Greek days. The king adored him so much that when he died in a tragic accident that he was declared a god and that he should be because he was amazingly beautiful. Of course my regret is not taking a picture of him but here are some other great statues we saw in the museum.

Poseidon, God of the Waters

The Parthenon is truly an amazing sight to see. Even though it's in a very ruined condition, it is still quite breathtaking. Each statue is carved to such intricacy that you can't help but imagine it come to life to tell you what life was about back in those wiser, yet simpler times. Overall, the city of Athens is fairly modern but it's neat to walk around and just stumble upon history.
