| The President walked to a door on his right, He opened it up, and we saw a strange sight. A dog was there sitting when we took a look, He was reading a "Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme" book. The President said, "Come on out Barney, dear." "I've been secretly teaching him now for a year. I want you to know, you have opened my eyes. A dog should not have to put on a disguise. Dogs should be proud of their furry-ful faces. They should be allowed to go in public places. I hereby decree and I hereby declare... That dogs will be welcome to go anywhere." Dogs from around the whole world clapped their paws, When word spread to them of the President's laws. So you see, Rover did make the place a bit better, By sending the President one little letter. His dog friends can now go to school if they please. They just have to make sure to powder for fleas... Now, I know you'll agree, he's the smartest dog yet. Rover sits in a chair while he surfs on the Net. THE END |
