Every responsible citizen desires a strong, healthy, peaceful, flourishing and prosperous nation. Nothing beautiful, nothing noble, ever comes into being by mere well wishing. To have one is to work for one. One must start somewhere and start with open eyes, an open heart, willing hands, and ready feet.

There is no denying that a �developing� country like the Philippines, needs all the help it can get. With its limited resources, our government is not sufficiently equipped and capable to tackle the problems brought about by poverty. Even with the basic of services, our people are in deep need.

Believing then that we have a sacred duty, a social responsibility, not only to our government and to the nation, but above all to God for our �neighbors�, the ministry leadership, through different times and seasons, responded in love and in obedience to the will of God which is - love our neighbors as ourselves, after loving Him. Thus, love of God and love of neighbor, is the foundation and the compelling force that generates all programs and services.

We are fully convinced that if we do our God-given task, we shall also and most definitely be a positive influence for a better society.
