I am just one of the thousands of children whose life GOD has touched through His work at Reach Youth Ministries, Inc.

I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ at the age of ten (10) years old. It was Grace - a volunteer worker of Reach Youth who introduced me to Him. Saturday after Saturday, Grace along with some other workers of Reach Youth would go to the slum area where I was residing at that time to conduct bible studies and afterwards serve food. I was one of the privileged recipients of their servant hood.

It was through those bible studies that the Lord had opened my eyes and made me understand how special I am in His sight. From then on, JESUS changed my values, my dealings with people, my perspectives� my whole life.

While I was walking and growing in faith, I was not exempt from problems, pains and hardships. The big blow came when my parents separated when I was eleven (11) years old. This problem along with the fact that our family was living in poverty at that time, posed a lot of questions and confusion in my mind. In spite of these, I continued to seek GOD. The discipleship I received from Reach Youth helped me face life�s realities with confidence in His faithful promises. His promise in Jeremiah 29:11 �For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.� -- embedded hope in my heart and prompted me to trust JESUS even more.

In the years that followed, I became more fervent in my faith. I have seen with my very eyes God�s promises being fulfilled in my life. By His grace and provision, I was able to finish my college course. I have graduated with a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and at present I am now working as a teacher in one of the prestigious schools in Makati. As if this was not enough, GOD had also lifted our family from poverty, we no longer live in the slums. He has also called me into ministry by serving as a volunteer worker-teacher at Reach Youth� yes, the potential street kid before is now one of the workers lending a hand to potential and actual street kids now. Isn�t GOD truly amazing? Jesus turned my life around and my heart is just full of thanksgiving for His goodness and unconditional love.
