Marjorie Marie Mathis

 

 

Marjorie Marie Mathis was born to Garland Woodrow Mathis and Lucile Marie (Edwards) Mathis on the 12th of August 1960 in Bethany Missouri


The youngest of 11 children Marjorie graduated from South Harrison High located in Bethany, MO in 1977.


In 1979 she moved to San Diego, California where her longtime friend Robert A. Dulaney Jr. was stationed while serving aboard the United States Navy ship USS Cook (FF-1083).


Marjorie arrived to live with Robert on the 4th of July 1979 and the two set up house in Chula Vista California.  On the 25th of November of that year Marjorie and Robert Andrew Dulaney Jr. were united in marriage in a nondenominational church in Bethany Missouri, USA. None of Robert's family was present, (Marjorie's Aunt Eddie stood in as Robert's mother).   Robert's best friend, since the second grade, Michael Everett Hill, did attend as best man.


Marjorie held a number of jobs in both Insurance, Law, and Education, as she was she was an accomplished and well sought after executive secretary.  


Marjorie divorced Robert after a mutual agreement in 1998.  The divorce took place in Harrison County, Missouri, USA


Even though divorced, Robert and Marjorie remained friends and on 12 May 2015 Marjorie and Robert reunited and began living together again as man and wife, at the time residing in Des Moines, Washington, USA.
