Bertha Elizabeth Dulaney

 

Bertha Elizabeth Dulaney was born as the third child of Robert Andrew Dulaney Sr., and Maryetta (Imschweiler) Dulaney.  Betty (and "Lizard" as she later came to be known as) was born on the 26th of June 1958 at the Torrance Harbor General Hospital (now called Harbor-UCLA Medical Center), located in Torrance, Los Angeles County, California.

 

Bertha "Betty" remembers little of the ranch they lived on located at 29625 Louis Avenue, Canyon Country, Los Angeles County, California, where it was her brother Robert who gave her the nick-name of "Lizard" and sang her a little poem he coined just for her.

 

In 1971 the Betty's family left the farm and moved to what they called "The City" to a house located at 19329 Lone Rock located in a Housing Track, called Sky Blue Mesa, located in Canyon Country; what is now called Santa Clarita, Los Angeles County, California.

 

While in California Betty attended Mint Canyon Elementary School, and Honby Elementry (now called Canyon Springs, and Sierra Vista Jr. High School.

 

After her father's death in 1975, Betty moved with the family to 128 Connie Brook Rd in Melbourne, Izzard County, Arkansas, USA.  While in Arkansas Betty attended Melbourne High School.  

 

Betty met and later married Richard Sanders in Melbourne, Arkansas on 02 October, 1977 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

 

This union brought four children:

 

Miletta (16 July 1978)

 

Landis (30 May 1980)

 

Sylvia (01 January 1982

 

Katie (13 January 1984) 

 

In June of 1988 Betty divorced Rick in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.

 

In 1989 Betty Attended Atlanta Career Institute and became a certified as a CNT (Certified Nursing Technician) on 28 August of that year.

 

While camping, Betty discovered Kevin Dobson.  Kevin claimed to be from Camden-on-Gauly, West Virginia, USA.  Betty and Kevin lived together for several years until they were finally married in Camden-on-Gauly, Webster County, West Virginia.  Betty and Keven divorced in May of 2001 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee.

 

After Divorcing Kevin Betty moved to Selma Alabama

 

On October 26th 2004 Betty became Certified of Active Treatment and Outcomes for the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation.  Now called Department Of Mental Health.
