ENTRY CRITERIA

Age:                  . 17 to 48 years inclusive on date of entry

Education:        . Degree in Psycology
1 of the              . Graduate Officer from the Royal Military College, Duntroon with
following             an approved 4 year sequence of tertiary study in the field of
                             Psycology.
                           . Be eligible for registration or pre-registration supervision as a
                             Psycologist, in an Australian state or Territory.

Physical:           . Fit
                           . Pass Psyche test
                           . Pass medical tests and have 10 year med history in Australia

Other:                . Must have or be eligiable for Australian citizenship

AVENUES OF ENTRY

Degree Course: . 4 year tertiary study at Royal Military College, Duntroon, or
                             . Approved College Degree Of Psycology

Direct Entry        General Service Officer
(DEO)                  . Graduate Officer Only at Royal Military College, Duntroon
                               18 months basic Officer training course

Direct Entry        . Specialised Service Officer
(SSO)                   . 4 weeks and 4 days training at Royal Military College, Duntroon

            . Apitude Tests (Psyche Interview, Paper Tests)
            . Medical Tests

2.        Security Screening
           . Background check covering 10 years residence in Australia

3.         Selection Board
           . Approval of four year degree in Psycology that fulfils the requirements
             for Associate membership to the Australian Psychological Society (APS)

4.         Offer Of Employment and Subsiquent Appointment As A Trainee
