| My first plane : Swallow |

| This was my first ever plane, bought for me as a birthday gift by my girlfriend, called "Swallow", Great little plane. With no experiance i flew several times before destroying it, The price is HK$600 & RTF, all you have to do is charge the batteries. I went through 2 of these planes in one summer before moving up to something bigger. Great summer.........great fun...!! |
| It has a 36" wing-span (approx) with a huge dihedrhal so is VERY stable. Rudder & Elevator controls only so very simple to start with. On/off switch (on transmitter) for a tiny 180 electric motor. |
| I found that a little extra wing support was required if you wanted your wing to survive more than a week !! (Those 6" wooden satay sticks were perfect for glueing on.) |

| First ever take off, I managed to turn before hitting the tree's in the distance............. but hit the fence behind me on my return. I thought land it softly, but forgot to switch off the motor! It started to rain so i went home, And happy any-ways. |
| I took my new "Swallow" out to Lamma Island to test fly for a second time. By the 3rd or 4th flight i had enough control to take a picture. Shows you just how easy it is to fly if you get the right plane...!! |
