My 2nd plane : Golden Oriole
This was a great electric powered (aerobatic) model,
Good glider with the engine off, but really fun at about 60% throttle.
Not really a beginner's model, a tip for a beginner is not to attach the rudder to the rudder push-rod but leave it loose to swing.
(When you get a bit more experianced then just connect it up)
NEXT PAGE :

I smashed it into a concrete wall at about 40mph, billions of pieces exploded into the air, took a chunk of the concrete out & the 7'cell  batteries broke apart....................took it home in a bin bag..!!!
See a movie of the Golden Oriole in flight
The wing-span is 1820mm & all up weight is around 1500g.
The wing is 2 part for easy transport & already nicely covered,
All The linkages / push-rods are  already in place, so set-up time is saved & for us beginners it nice to see those magic words on the box
"Factory installed'......!!
