IB Chemistry 1
The students in this class are in a "Honors Level" class.  The level of self-motavition and persistence are crutial. Once completed the students will be prepared to take the Standard Level IB Exam.

3 Periodicity
4 Bonding
5 States of Matter
6 Energetics
7 kinetics
8 Equilibrium
9 Acids and Bases
10 Oxidation and reduction
11 Organic Chemistry
 

The students will also spend a significant ammount of time in the lab (30-40 hours) and working on an independent research project of their choice with other IB Chemistry and IB Biology students.  They might even learn how to clean a beaker with their shirt.
