Even after the onslaught of super typhoon Reming in the Bicol region, the club pushed thru with its annual tradition of holding a Christmas party for SPED students of Camarines Sur Central High School on December 21, 2006. SPED stands for Special Education students or the visually, orally, hearing and or mentally impaired children. This Christmas party was the biggest SPED Christmas party so far. More than 200 students, teachers, and family members of the students attended it. The Gualandi Center Gym for the Deaf at Balatas, Cararayan,Naga City was large enough to accommodate the big crowd and seventeen Rotarians and Rotary spouses who attended this event. The students presented an enthralling program. The Rotarians treated them to a sumptuous merienda and a variety of gifts were distributed to all the students.
