Well, I called the RCMP recruiting office first thing Monday morning. I was right, they wanted to know ALL my driving infractions that I had EVER had. Since most of my speeding tickets have been in the early 90's this was a big challenge. They also wanted a new person on my "contacts" list. So I had to quick contact someone and see if they would be my friend lol ... I gathered all the info she needed and called her back that afternoon.
I asked her what kind of timeline I could expect now and this is what she had to say.
I should get my interview in the next 1-2 months. If I pass, I will have to wait for all the people on my contact list to be visited. That will take another 3-4 months. At the same time I should get my medical/dental pkg in the mail. All said and done, she said that I probably won't get into depot this year. More like the first half of 2003. So again here's waiting. |
