I attended another information session last week in Nanaimo. I didn't have to but I thought that since it had been over a year since the last one I would see what's new and hear what's happening. They did say that the recruit allotment for "E division"(B.C.) is up from 100 recruits to 400. Good for me... so here is hoping. They also said that the RCMP was changing the whole recruiting process and implementing the polygraph test. I don't think I will have to do it, but any new people applying from now on will. Also they will be breaking up the interviewing process so that they do a security interview first. This basically meant that they could lower the rpat scores and allow more people to get through the system, weeding the bad ones out in the quick security interview. Time will tell. So again I wait for MY interview call. It is supposed to happen by the end of June. Keep checking back |
