The shine on my ankle boots is all but a memory. To say these last 3 weeks have been busy would be an understatement. I have been thrown right into the thick of things. There is SO much information to absorb. I feel like I am in the first few weeks of depot again. Work has been great though. I am learning lots and I am working with great people. The weeks have been full and the calls have been interesting. I can't believe the work load. On top of my learning and files I have "mods" to complete just like in depot. I have to learn all the provincial statutes among other things. I also have a community project and a community profile to complete.
I have yet to get paid so we are still living off of depot savings and credit. Buying the new house and driving 130km to work have stretched them thin. They say save for 6 months but it should be 7.
Its great to be home with my family but I still have to spend days away from them hoteling it until we get into our new house. Only 2 more weeks. I can't wait. I really want the move to be over for my sanity and that of my family. I think it's really hard for my boys. They don't want to move and leave their friends and the only house that they remember.
I expect the next 6 months to fly by. I know it will be busy. Here I go.............
