Let me tell you this...PEPPER SPRAY HURTS!!!!!!! A LOT!!! . If you ever get told by a police officer to do stop doing what you're doing or you will meet Dr. Pepper. Believe me DO IT!!!!. Our troop got sprayed today. You got to see the different ways it affected people. I got hit with about a 2 second blast and then had to kick a bag. Then I had to call in my name, location and what just happened to me. Cadet Haney 10-33 south side of the arena Ive been pepper sprayed As I was saying that I was thinking hey this stuffs not that bad and then BANG it hit me like a ton of bricks. For the first five min I could not open my eyes to save my life and when I finally was able to pry them open it stung like heck and I couldnt see. I was hurting for about10-15 min and had to be led around. I was also one of the lucky ones because after 20 min I was fine. It took some people 45min to recover. Then an hour later when we got back to the shacks we all jumped into the shower and it started all over again. It kinda feels like you fell asleep in the sun FOR 2 DAYS!!!! And thats only your face. Your eyes sting like, well, like they have pepper spray in them. Your nose runs like you have the worst cold and you lose your breath because you are breathing the fumes coming off your face. Pepper spray is an oil base so washing it off with water does not help. You pretty much have to wait until if evaporates. Thats why when you have a shower the oil thats left on your head runs back over your face and eyes and stings again. Well, this has been my painful yet memorable day. I have lots of pictures so when I get them developed I will post them on the website. They had better not be serving Pepper corn chicken at the mess any time soon... |
