| AAA time management. I just finished working on a file and decided to update my site. Its 10:30pm. I figured if I don`t do it now it won't get done. Last week was an interesting one to say the least. A fellow troop mate got injured during a PDT(police defense tactics) class. Some one fell sideways on poor Tyner's leg, dislocating his knee. (Owch.) He now has a leg brace on and will get news Wednesday as to whether he is going to be sent home or not. Tyner is also my room mate and it will be a real blow to the troop if he has to go. We're pullin' for ya Tyner.. If he is sent home he will be ``Back trooped`` which means that he will come back after his knee heals and have to start all over again with another troop. If he stays then he will have some catching up to do in PDT and a few other courses once he heals up. Time will tell. We had our first firearms benchmark the other day. I did rather well. Shooting 85 out of 90. Only 2 other guys shot better than me. One of my troop mates, Jamie, shot an 86 and good old Tyner, only hours after dislocating his knee, shot a perfect 90. He needed that. That is considered a superior. We had a really bad day with drill the other day as well. We had a Sargent instead of our regular drill cpl. We had just lost Tyner and our order was all messed up. So the counts that we had been practicing for our drill moves didnt work. All it takes is one to miscount and the whole thing goes the dogs. We did a lot of pushups and running that class. We really would like to forget that day ever happened and move on. We practiced last night and got the moves down. Drill first thing tomorrow. As for Regina well WHEN IS IT GOING TO WARM UP!!!!!!!! When we got up this morning(at 5:30) it was -39. Tack on wind chill and it was -50. That made Regina officially the coldest place on the planet. Even the north pole was warmer than Regina this morning. We tied with a 113 year old low temp record. This has also been the coldest winter in Regina in 5 years. OK..... spring can start now..... anytime.... Needless to say, my Coopers test was postponed until this frozen corner of the world warms up a bit. Thats about it for tonight. I had a great time with Mary this weekend. It was nice to get away from Depot and spend the weekend with her. I am now looking forward to Easter when I will go home for 4 days. One day at a time.
