Our Projects

Teacher's Talents Competition :

Our club has been conducting this competition for the teachers of the districts of South Kanara and Udupi for the past 19 years. This is a unique program in the sense that it is a one of a kind for the teaching fraternity to expose their hidden talent. Competitions such as dancing, singing, flower arrangement, quiz and other talents are part of the day long competition. Prizes are awarded on Teacher's day.

Children's Festival :

This is an ongoing program for the past 18 years and very successful at that. This too is open to the children of both South Kanara and Udupi. The competition is divided into several categories depending on the class factor. Some of the events are tricycle race, nursery rhymes, singing, dancing, dumb charades, quiz and painting. Prizes for the winners are given on the 14th as we celebrate Children's day.

Munch Street :

This is the third year we are conducting this very successful fund raiser. It's a food festival and a competition among the several hotel management colleges of Mangalore. We have a healthy crowd of around 1,600 attending this and grooving to the music of the D.J.

Variety Street :

This used to be our major fund raiser for around 18 years. Our club was the pioneering spirit behind Inter-collegiate variety entertainment competition in Mangalore. Unfortunately we had to shelve this for a lot of reasons.

Ashrams :

We have adopted an ashram around 13 kilometers from the city which looks after destitute children. We have a yearly competition which is looked forward to by the inmates. Other than this, we spend time with them on Independence day and also take them to the beach for an outing. On Diwali, we burst crackers with them spreading the spirit of brotherhood.

Pulse Polio :

For the past 3 years we have been manning an independent booth at a village called Krishnakodi other than the booths at the Railway station and Bus stop.

International Evening :

We celebrate this day by inviting a few foriegn students to our club and interacting with them.This helps us in getting a better picture about their country and fostering friendship. We get to understand their culture thus getting us closer.
