President's Message

Our traditional yearly project at the start of the Rotary is the Book Donation. This is our modest involvement to the celebration of Literacy Month. The Project Chairman is PS XC Alikpala. Thanks to our Chairman XC, fellow Rotarians and spouses who continually support this project. The Marikina City Library, Sto. Ni�o Elementary School and Malanday Elementary School are the Book Donation recipients.
Tonight we will hear our baby Rotarian Jun Jun Farcon in his Classification Talk on Bakeshop Product Distribution. I am sure we will learn many things that we can use in our livelihood training project.
Last Thursday, CREP Chairman Jun Farcon delivered our first monthly lecture entitled "Back to Basics". This is part of our continuing effort to keep our member always informed about Rotary. The surprise quiz given after the lecture had very satisfactory result. PP Roland Garcia, PP Mario Isidro and Treas. Fabi Cadiz were the topnotchers in the said quiz. Congratulation!

"CREP: BACK TO BASICS"
Our club had its first CREP lecture entitled "Back to Basics" last Thursday, July 18, 2002. It was very timely in the sense that as the Rotary began, we were refreshed and enlightened on the basic history, principle & essence of Rotary. PP Jun Farcon, a District Caliber lecturer, has proven once again his competence in giving lectures and seminars. He has grab our interest and attention in the subject matter, thus we all got high marks on the surprise quiz that followed the lecture.
We promise to prepare more substantial CREP on the months to follow. Thanks to our CREP chairman PP Jun Farcon and his committee.
"BOOK DONATION"
This morning we had our yearly Book Donation Project led by its Chairman PS XC Alikpala. President Dante Verano, PE Dindo, Sec. Vincent, Dir. Val other Rotarians and spouses gave support and assistance to this very worthwhile project. Recipient of our Book Donation were the Marikina City Library, Sto. Ni�o Elementary School and Malanday Elementary School.
