May 19th 2001, Saturday May 19th was a big day for The Showboater with an 8 for 8 launch ratio. I used four C motors and four B motors rocketing the boat 20-40 yards. I have got many photos and movies of The Showboater adding to be the best trial yet. Click the thumbnails to view the pictures.
Sunday May 6, 2001 The Showboater was first tested on Sunday May 6, 2001. It performed very well. Almost out performing The Flamethrower. The place that I tested The Showboater was at the Bluffs of Pensacola Florida. It started out calm but as time went on the bay got choppy. I've taken some more pictures from the video of the trials. Most of them are on the Showboater Photos section. The pictures appear grainy because of the program used to take the video from the camera. Click on the thumbnail to view the picture.

It was the second launch of the Showboat with a motor to big. The Showboat does still work, but it was really cool what happened. The Showboat hit a wave causing it fly in mid air. Then it turned and crashed upside down. As it came about the Showboater came upright and did a full 360 degrees landing upright in the water.
