What to Bring (obviously not comprehensive)

  • A water bottle for hiking on Saturday
  • Layered clothing for hiking.  Temperatures while in the mountains change suddenly, so it is best to wear layers of clothing you can remove or put on throughout the day
  • A backpack or pouch you can put your water, food, and extra clothing in for the hike
  • Sturdy shoes or boots for hiking.  Sneakers are OK, but make sure they have good traction!
  • Linens or a sleeping bag.  Linens are NOT provided.  Blanket is provided only if you have a bed.
  • Bring a pillow if I told you that you will not have a bed
  • Extra spending money
  • Book: Finding Common Ground if you have it
  • Bible
  • Toiletries
  • Bath towel
