Description: Digital Telecommunications (DigiTel), Phils. is the
Philippines’ #2 telephone service provider based on total number of
subscribers. Its primary business is providing landline services in all
provinces in Luzon. It also offers Internet and data services under the brand
name DigitelOne. Digitel is also the
Philippines’ #3 mobile phone service provider through its subsidiary, Digitel
Mobile (using the brand name Sun Cellular), which provides cellular services
nationwide.

SUN Cellular was launched in Mar 29, 2003. You can
choose your usage profile, namely I-Speak and I-Text without changing numbers
or SIMs! Digitel Mobile also introduced the 24/7 Call and Text Unlimited
service, wherein the subscriber will only pay P250/month (deductible to their
Monthly Service Fee) so he/she can call and send text messages to other Sun
subscribers unlimited for a period of 30 days.
Launched in Mar 29, 2003, it also offers the same
benefit of letting you choose your own usage profile depending on your
communication needs. Digitel Mobile also offers Sun Cellular Prepaid
subscribers the option to convert P120 of prepaid credits into P180 worth of
text messages, which the subscriber can send exclusively to other local
cellphone networks, just by dialing 225. They also allow the Sun Cellular
Prepaid subscribers to enroll in the 24/7 CTU service for as low as P100 (for
10 days) or P250 (for 30 days).

How to avail of service:
To avail of postpaid service, you may go to the nearest
SUN Shop to apply for the various postpaid plans. For prepaid, you may purchase
a Navigator 64K SIM for only P150, which comes with pre-loaded P150 airtime
(you get P50/month for the first 3 months). Or you may look for Roaming Sales
Agents that offer FREE SIM Swap.
