What happened at the 2004 mini-reunion?
(Can you provide some details about this
mini-reunion?)

Irish Times
- This year, our second
mini-reunion was held at Irish Times and coincided with Brookfield’s Oktoberfest,
Sat-25-Sep-2004. Mr. Badovinac lives in Arkansas and gets the award for
farthest distance traveled to attend at 573 miles (8˝ hours). Runner-up is
Mr. Schwarm at 318 miles and quickly followed by
Mrs. O’Brien (Jeziorski) at 296 miles.
Golf Outing - This outing had some of the best possible weather for golf. Mr.
Badovinac, who insisted on getting the outing together, showed us why he
was there, by hitting a 73 (three over par), his life-time best! It didn’t
hurt to have the Oak Brook Head Golf Pro, Mr. VanDyke,
in his four-some. This far overshadowed Mr. Fulscher’s near miss (two
inches) of a hole-in-one!
Walk/Run - The Brookfield Zoo 3K Family Walk and
5K Run also had perfect weather. Mr. Johnson,
Mr. Gryzlak and Mr. Fulscher found a way to get
up early and finish the race respectively: 21.03, 25.10 & 31.30. While
Mrs. O’Brien chose to wait for the 3K Family Walk escorted by Kelly
Fulscher and daughters Jackie (3˝ yrs) & Kate (11 wks). They finished
in 54 minutes, including several stops near the bear, giraffe, elephant
and baboon exhibits. Mr. Moran arrived (much) later and toured the zoo
with his sons Jay (3 yrs) and Charlie (1 yr).
