Frequently Asked Questions

When was the homecoming football game?

                Friday, October 1st, 2004 @ 7pm.

Why was our mini-reunion weekend the weekend before?

An e-mail blast went out to those that live out of state asking whether the last weekend in September versus the first weekend in October would increase the probability of actually coming into town. Slightly more that half of those that replied indicated end of September was better.

Why even consider a different weekend than R-B’s homecoming weekend?

Ask yourself: Did I go to the football game last year? Friday night games are hard to make even for those that live nearby. After considering switching from a Friday gathering to a Saturday, the question was put to those out of state. (See above FAQ). End of September became a choice once it was realized that the Zoo was having its Walk/Run and Irish Times was celebrating Oktoberfest.

Can we still go to the homecoming football game?

Yes! And, it should be free for all alumni. In previous years, there’s usually a tent in the south end zone (inside the track) for all alumni to meet.

I heard that the school offers a tour and video presentation.

Yes, that’s true. Actually the boosters provide a continental breakfast and a video presentation in the auditorium.  They will have old yearbooks for sale. You’re welcome to visit, but they need a head count (re: food) and you will need to send an e-mail indicating your intention to visit. e-mail The school will be open from 9:30am till 11:30am on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004. *Note: This is the day after homecoming.

How can I find out about other classes having reunions this year?
