12/16/02- First Doctor Appointment: December 23rd, 8:15 a.m.

12/23/02 - Today was the first appointment! I am also 6 weeks pregnant today! My due date is set for August 18, 2003. That would be just 9 days after my birthday =) Next appointment is set for January 27th at 9:00 a.m. They will listen for the heartbeat then =) |

1/27/03 - Today was the first appointment with the actual doctor! Due date has been switched to August 21st, 2003. They couldn't hear the heartbeat so they did an ultrasound. Heartbeat is completley fine though! Check the picture page! Next appointment is February 24th at 9:30. |

1/28/03 - Next appointment is changed! Jason was upset he wasn't going to be able to make it so it is now February 27th at 10:15. |

2/27/03 - Today was the second appointment =) We finally got to hear the heartbeat!!!!!!!! 160 bpm =) Our BIG ultrasound will be April 2nd at 8 a.m. =) With another doctor's appointment at 9 right afterwards. |

4/20/03 - Sorry we haven't written in a while! We found out March 23rd that we are having a little girl! I had been having some bleeding and we ended up having an emergency appointment. They moved up the ultrasound to that day! The technician told us it looked "awfully girly" and then said the chances are "pretty good" it's a girl! So we have our name, Zoe Olivia Ellis (Note the initials!)
Next Appointment is ?May 1st at 9 a.m. for the gestational diabetes test!
4 weeks after this appointment, we expect another ultrasound to check on development =)
We are also now registered at Walmart, Toys R' Us and Target! |

5/13/03 - Okay, well it took me a little while to post an update, I failed my first gestational diabetes test and had to go back to take a second one, which I just found out today I passed =) So everything seems to be right on track now =)
We go back Thursday May 29th at 8:00 a.m. for another ultrasound and then a regular appointment! |

5/30/03 - Had our appointment yesterday! All and all it was a good appointment, had to deal with a little bit of ciritism about weight gain but if it's not hurting Zoe...I'll deal with that later.
Ultrasound was good =) Zoe weighs just over 2 pounds! We have plenty of pictures that I'm posting in the pictures section in just one second =)
Next appointment is June 26, 2003 at 9:15 a.m. =) |

6/30/03 - We had our appointment on the 26th, wasn't eventful, heartbeat still the same.
I went into preterm labor on Saturday!! It was able to be stopped though so that's a relief! Check my journal to see the full story!
I'm on weekly appointments now for my blood pressure! I'll keep everyone updated as we get news! We'll have new pictures taken soon =) |
