My Spring Break shall commence in less than 48 hours.

Besides hanging out with friends and SO, I also plan on plowing through as many of the RPGs I've started but had to drop for some reason. This includes Kingdom Hearts, Shadow Hearts, Gladius and the newly acquired Tsugunai: Atonement. I am also attempting to start Icewind Dale up, but am having an aggravating bug ruin most of the experience. It will play fine for about half and hour, after which the text starts flashing rapidly before crashing when I attempt to save the game. One of the major reasons I have not made much progress in the console RPGs was simply because of my roommate and his friends, whom would most likely not be able to appreciate the finer nuances inherent in Japanese console RPGs - at least not when they'd rather play Madden or Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Which is a tragedy, since it is my TV and PS2 but I also hate playing RPGs with audiences, and even moreso with audiences such as they are.

It appears that I shall have permanent cable modem access at my house - in time for Spring Break even - so one could expect either some additional updates or no updates at all, ever. It all shall depend on whether or not I can beat the temptation of downloading gigs of anime and/or playing Counter-Strike 24 hours a day. We shall see how that turns out.

As a side note, I was able to secure the Freeman Grant for studying abroad. That extra $6000 will allow me to go to Kansai University in Osaka, Japan, next spring. Again, if you are interested in such updates, I'd like to point you to my LiveJournal which can be reached via the link to the left.

My Spring Break ended about 48 hours ago.

My break ended up being fairly unproductive, but that matters little when you are having fun with friends and Counter-Strike. I did manage to finish Kingdom Hearts and a rewatching of Serial Experiements Lain though, so I shall begin work on that review/revision in the next few weeks.

Presently, I feel like absolute crap. Definitely something along the lines of a flu, complete with fever, chills, and a sore throat. Needless to say, any productive work will be defered until such time that I feel better.
