ANTARCTICA - JOURNEY TO THE ICE

Crumbling Iceberg embedded in the Sea Ice near Mawson Station, Antarctica

The brown lumps along the base of the berg are Weddel Seals. We never approach within twice the height of the iceberg, in case it calves or rolls.
