It is amazing to see just how strong the sea ice is. You can drive bulldozers, graders, trucks and just about anything on it. These vehicles are parked next to the Aurora Australis in the middle of the ocean, and sea containers are lifted off the ship and straight onto the sea ice. By the end of summer, all this will be open ocean.

This site is designed to be viewed at a minimum screen resolution of 1024 x 768. If your computer can't handle this, it is time to get a new computer!
