Even having fun is political. And the most political fun stuff you can do is stuff that costs no money! Screw the GDP!
My favourite fun things are: Blowing bubbles (especially in public, it makes people smile) Playing hacky Walking in the park Gardening Listening to music, especially girl music! |

Playing hacky is extremely good life training. Here are some inportant life lessons that hacky teaches:
Gently moving your body following a naturally moving object is pretty much unconditionally good for you.
Picking up the hacky sac when it falls near you is good humility practice, which can prevent embarrassing outbreaks of messianic hubris in other areas of one's life.
Getting used to the idea that despite the fact that the chances of actually getting anything approaching a useful outcome from any given kick - you usually miss - it doesn't mean it's not worth playing the game.
You have to work as a team.
Persistence is everything.
You win when everyone gets a turn.
You don't have to apologise for anything.
A session usually lasts for as long as it takes to get two or three really good rallies and ends when collective focus drops below a certain level.
You only lose when you're not playing it!
Life is short. Might as well play hacky, maybe after 40 years we'll be "good". |

OP SHOPPING!!! |
|
|
|
We all know girls love to shop but sometimes it's hard when you got no cash and you're worried about buying stuff made by underpaid women in sweat shops. But no fear - the solution is to buy second hand! That way, we're contributing to our local economies, often helping local charities, taking pressure off our landfills and the best bit is no one will have the same outfit as you! Wicked!! Convinced myself, I'm off... |
