Ray grew up in a remote village in China with his friends on the White Tigers team. He practiced everyday so that he could become the greatest beyblader. He received his sacred bitbeast Driger from his best friend Lee's grandfather. Ray then set out on a journey to new lands to challenge new bladers and learn new techniques and grow stronger. Although, his friends on the White Tigers team took this the wrong way and they believed that Ray thought that he was too good for them so he left. From that point on they loathed Ray and when he met up with them in a tournament, he got a nasty surprise. Lee, Mariah, Kevin and Gary all treated him poorly and wouldn't listen when Ray tried to explain why he left. They then were opponents in the tournament and by the end (in which the outcome favoured the Bladebreakers) they were all allies again. |
