Chris: Chris has been my coworker at WHWL for some time and since his shift and my shift are adjacent to each other, we have become pretty good friends. Chris knows how to find something fun in just about anything and laughing with him is contagious! I will also say that he knows how to have fun mixing promos at the station. I've been impressed with his work on more than one occassion. Keep up the good work Chris! |

Alicia: I never used to believe that you can meet genuinely great people on the internet, but Alicia definitely showed me that it is possible. Alicia is a volleyball player at Lake Superior State University and from the few times we have been in contact through e-mail, she seems like a wonderful, fun-loving person. Good luck with your aspirations Alicia! |

Cori: A blessing right when I needed one. That was what Cori was when I first heard from her. She is another person that I met online and I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly sweet and fun she is. She is currently a pastor for a church in the Palmer/Suomi area. I hope I get to know Cori better. |

Beth: This is a fun story. I came to know Beth when I scored 100% compatible with her on emode.com's matchmaker. So I sent her an email and she sent me an email...and it was fun! I don't know her very well but she seems like a very nice person. She works as a hairdresser in Marquette and dreams of working on broadway someday. |

Rebecca: Yet another person I was introduced to through Emode. We first met in person in the LRC lounge at Northern in fall semester '03. Since that time, we have become very close. I have been going out with Rebecca since February 1, 2004, and I have enjoyed every moment with her! Rebecca is all about smiles and simple sweet things. For this reason, she is a big encouragement to me and I never want to lose her friendship! |

Sara: I met Sara in the summer of 2003, again, online...but this time through Yahoo. She seemed like a very mysterious person, so I was skeptical at first; but once I started finding out more about her, I knew she was a wonderful individual and someone I would like getting to know.. We met in person near the start of the 2003 fall semester and went out quite often for lunch. Sara plays trumpet for NMU's marching band, and plays very well I might add. I hope that we can become close friends because she is definitely someone worth getting to know.
Looking for a pic. |

Julie: I first got to know Julie when she became part of a music ministry group called "Taberah." I also became familiar with her because she sang in some of NMU's choirs. Julie has an incredible soprano voice and also plays guitar well. I have not seen Julie since she transferred to a different college after winter semester of 2003, but I will always remember her for her amazing voice and spectacular smile. |

Ben: During the summer of 2003, I was working at the Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee. It was there that I met Ben, the other seasonal employee. We quickly became friends and did a lot of hanging out over the summer. In that time span, Ben started dating my sister so now he is practically family. Ben is one of the nicest guys I have ever known and has a smile on his face all the time. He plays piano and guitar wonderfully and has a knack for the eXtreme sports. I now consider Ben to be one of my closest friends and I hope that we remain close. |
