This page is dedicated to my friends!
Stephanie L.
Stephanie: I have known about Steph for several years now but I really started to get to know her well in the fall of 2002. Since that time, she has become one of my closest friends. She always manages to make me smile and has the vitality of a young puppy. When it comes to "hugs and squishies," Steph is the queen. She has picked me up when I have felt down on so many occassions, I could not count them all. Currently, Steph is working and studying at NMU.

Jennifer D.
Jennifer: I attended the same high school as Jen so I knew about her for a while, however, in the fall of 1999 and spring of 2000, I got to know her very well. So much in fact, that we started going out. Jen and I were together for two years before she decided to take a break and explore everything life has to offer. Jen is an energetic, fun-loving, and very caring girl; and is known affectionately by many of her friends as "Yenj." Jen Jen (as I like to call her) is one of the best friends I have ever had and probably that I ever will have. Jen is currently studying to become a social worker.
Joanna, Ben, and Leah: I have known Joanna, Ben, and Leah for my entire life...literally! Ben has been my best friend since I knew what a friend was. All three are pastor's kids at the church where I attend and all three are very talented with both instruments and voices. They have been great peer role-models for me and I am so thankful for everything that they mean to me. I will always consider them some of my very closest friends in the world.

Working on finding a pic.
Layla K. and Jen E.
Layla: I first met Layla (pictured on the left side with her friend Jen on the right) in the fall of 2000 when I first started college. She was in several of the same classes as me since we were both in the honors program. It wasn't till the next year that I really started getting to know her and now she is one of my best friends in the world. Layla was one of the biggest supports for me in college. She graduated in the spring of 2004 with a major in Marketing and French. She graduated with high honors and I am very proud of everything she was able to accomplish. Currently she is studying in France and doing some marketing work there.
Alisha D.
Alisha: Smile! If you want to see a nice one, Alisha is definitely your girl. I met Alisha in the fall of 2002 after responding to an off-line message in yahoo messenger. Since that time, we have occassionally written and messaged each other. She was one of those friends that just "popped" into my life and I'm so thankful she did because she is such a fun person. She's very stylish and is currently studying in the medical field. Alisha is one happening girl!
Miriam (left) and Anna (right) G.
Anna and Miriam: I met these two New York natives in the summer of 1998 in Copper Harbor, Michigan, while my family was on vacation. They quickly became good friends of mine and I corresponded with them after they returned to New York. I have lost touch with Anna somewhat but Miriam remains a very close friend whom I talk with on the telephone. (And that says a lot because I don't care very much for phones!) I hope that I will always stay in touch with these perky and fun friends!
Sarah H. and Tippy
Tim H.
Beth, Tim, Rachel, and Sarah: I have known the Hills for most of my life and we have always been very good friends. Tim has been my coworker at WHWL for several years and is now attending seminary. I don't see much of Beth since she is in Indiana. Rachel is now one of my coworkers at the radio station and Sarah is attending college in Wisconsin. They are all great friends to me!
Ashley E.
Ashley: I went to high school with Ash, but I first got to know her well when we became dance partners in a musical group called Voices in Motion. Since that time we have been good friends. I often think back to all the fun times we had knocking each other around while we were supposed to be dancing and singing. Lots of laughs and lots of fun. Though we don't see much of each other now that we are gone from high school, I still manage to talk to Ash through email or messenger on and off. I miss swingin' with you Ash!
