I think I have the Japanese name right. This is one of the Nanatsu Mori hills. When the display of autumn leaves are finished higher up, it is still possible to get in some "kouyou" appreciation in the Nanatsu Mori. In the background and about 300m below is the lake behind Minamikawa Dam. If you're a Kurokawa-gun ALT, you should should spend some time in these hills. They are easy to get to if you have a car, and a great way to spend a day.
