Lisa gets Shipwrecked

There I was, reading the TV guide, when I stumbled on an article about the new series of Shipwrecked. I'm not really into these 'reality' shows, but the photo of the 3 Aussie participants stopped me in my tracks! Lisa Kastaniotis, former Hitz FM announcer.. was part of the cast! Lisa Kastaniotis on Hitz FM Shipwrecked publicity shot   Lisa was a part of Hitz FM way back in 1994, when the station's Summer broadcast made Australian radio history. (she presented the hard rock show, and later the alternative show). Her sister was also a Hitz volunteer, and they were both hard-working members in the early days of Melbourne's favourite youth radio station. In Shipwrecked, we see a different side to Lisa. She showed the judges her determination to join the series.. her audition tape includes a scene where she walks into a Melbourne bar wearing just a bikini! In the training segment, she conquered her fear of heights, by walking across an 'Indiana Jones' style suspension bridge! Good on you Lisa.. from the staff and listeners of Hitz FM.
