My name is Ravi and I'm currently completing my PhD from the Wolfson Centre of Cardiff University.
I have worked on advanced magnetic materials for device applications and my research brings benefit to many areas from hard-disks to refrigeration and air-conditioning. I have also worked on shape memory alloys which can be used in sensor and actuator applications.
My research interests are in magnetocaloric and magentoelastic materials, magnetic data recording, thin films, shape memory alloys and other smart materials.
