Camarada was my first Paso Fino horse.
I was looking for a naturally gaited filly that
I could eventually raise a gaited mule from.
When I saw Camarada, I just had to have her!
She was very naturally gaited, I was impressed!
Camarada was the horse that "sold" me on Paso Finos!

Here is a picture of her in her  first winter coat
... as a weanling .

She was like owning two different horses,
a striking roan in the summer,
and a pretty chestnut in the winter!

She went to Oklahoma with me when I moved there,
and then on to North Carolina.
While in North Carolina I sold her to
Si and Judy Eldred, of Bellingham, Washington.
Si and Judy had admired her  in Quesnel
a year before when they came up from USA
to buy Alexander (TWH mule) from me.

So Camarada crossed the continent twice.
She is still owned by the Eldreds in Washington.
