Life on the Ostrich Farm. I used Photoshop 5.5 and saved as a 30 quality jpg. I copied and pasted the ostriches and used Levels to brighten the picture. Notice also, that the ostriches in the center of the photograph were removed and then resized and inserted closer to the fence. Also, one of the riders on the truck was relocated to the back of an ostrich. I kept the two in the photograph since I wanted viewers to notice that she had been on the truck to start, but my original plan was to have her removed and a different person from another photograph inserted in her place on the truck.
Ghosts of Safari West. I flipped the entire photo after making a regular copy, using the photo that I had used on the previous version. I didn't want to get the two ostriches with their heads bent down all clustered in the center so I had to use the image where I had removed them. I turned down the opacity to 50% on the flipped copy and slid it over the regular copy and then used the Solarize filter on the regular image. I made some adjustments in Color Balance to the filtered image, adding some color in highlights and midtones.
