Here's an update from a guy name "Hal".
Well, we all know that she finally married her long-time fiance. If you ever noticed on Kaori's guitars (both the black Eric Clampton Fender Strat and her red Bill Lawerence with gold trim) you will see two red picks back to back on the horn. This represents her engagement to Mr. Matsumura (She sang about missing him while looking him up in her address book in a song called "M" on the "Lets get Crazy" album) She's now trying to do the mommy thing. On the side she still writes music for other Japanese pop stars like Miho Nakayama. She now resides in her home in Tokyo.
Anyways, after getting married (and a short hiatus) as we heard from Hal, Kaori finally gets back into the fray with the release and tour of her new solo album "Shout". Hope all you loyal fans have this new CD already!
