Rebecca Taylor, Attorney at Law
Licensed and Admitted to Practice in the State of Florida and the Southern Federal District Court in Florida
My objective is to assist clients with civil litigation and environmental legal matters. My work experience includes family law, criminal law, landlord/tenant law, commercial and general litigation, as well as law office management.

I have worked with such environmental issues as  land use and zoning, the Growth Management Act, comprehensive land use plans, environmental legislation, citizen initiative and referendum petitions, and other topics.

Throughout 2003, I worked for Richard Grosso, Esq. as a Certified Legal Intern and Research Assistant.  Mr. Grosso is General Counsel and Executive Director of the Environmental & Land Use Law Center ("ELULC"), which serves South Florida.
The ELULC has celebrated such legal victories as establishing limits for growth in the Keys, preventing Miami-Dade County from constructing an airport and other development between two national parks in Homestead, and perhaps most notably, causing the demolition of a multi-million dollar condominium complex which violated Florida's Growth Management Act.

I have also assisted with the development and promotion of the Florida Hometown Democracy proposed constitutional amendment.  This proposed amendment would allow Florida voters to have more control over land use decisions in their local communities.
