1. What is "distance gaming"? distance gaming is a type of gaming that is played at a distance. he he . Actually, this type of gaming utilizes some of the best known Play By e-Mail (PBeM) methods combined with a Website based game tracking system. All of our games are to be considered turn based, due to the nature of e-mail and Website publishing, not real-time.

2. Why create a distance gaming portal like DroidShack.com? DroidShack.com was created in order to facilitate distance gaming through PBeM and Website publishing. Similar to some portals that exist to facilitate games like PBeM chess.

3. What types of games can I play at DroidShack.com? Well, you can play whatever games we have running. Games such as Dungeons & Dragons Miniature Battles and the soon to be released (September 2004) Star Wars Miniature Battle.

4. Aren't these D&D and Star Wars Miniature Battles games owned by Wizards™? Yes, the official versions are owned by Wizards. We simply own the unofficial versions that are play-by-e-mail based. We have simply translated these table-top miniature games for play through e-mail. The games that we offer are striclty unofficial versions of the official D&D and upcoming Star Wars Miniature Battles Games. 10. How much does it cost? Nothing, all games through DroidShack.com are free. All they require is a little time and imagination.

11. What are the system requirements to play these unofficial e-mail games? You need access to the internet and an e-mail account. Basically, web access and e-mail. Also, we will use AIM or Yahoo! IM whenever possible for set-up phase.
