A Rasputina Biography!

Julia

Julia Kent was the second chair of Rasputina. She is from Vancouver, British Columbia (that’s in Canada!). Since the age of 6 Julia has been a keen cellist so it is no surprise that after seeing Melora's advertisement she signed up straight away! Julia is often seen as the Gothic influence of the band because of her black clothes and makeup. Julia left the band after the second album to join another musical act.

Agnieszka joined the band in 1997 during the release of Transylvanian Concubine. She was however around at the time of the debut and is credited on it. Agnieszka took the part of the second chair after a former member left the group. Agnieszka is from Poland. After becoming pregnant she left the band never to return!

NaNa

After the departure of Agnieszka Rasputina searched once again for a second chair. French born NaNa was to be that chair she is from Bordeaux and is known as a "Broadway" person. During the summer of the Cabin Fever! tour NaNa decided it would be fun to run away and not bother to come back!

KRIS

Kris replaced Julia as third chair she didn’t stay for long though! During the Cabin Fever! tour her leg went funny and ran from her I think she is still chasing it, probably because it has the stash of cash Kris earned from Cabin Fever!

JONATHAN

Jonathan is from Minnesota. You may have noticed he's a guy in a Lady's Cello Society but that’s because he does not play the cello but the drums!

ZOË

Zoë is new to Rasputina and recently joined! But I wonder how long it will take her to leave……

Well there they are! Rasputina, but what for their future with only two cellists and a MALE drummer can they really cut it like they used to?

OF COURSE THEY CAN!! Hehe!
