- The worse embarrassment I had to go through was our last ever show we did. We opened the gig for Czech Republic Deathgrind band Ingrowing. We finished off our set incomplete and didn't finish the last song we played. It was definitely the most horrifying and embarrassing thing that has happened to me since playing in Raspatul.
15. Do you see yourselves as big as.......... Do you feel you are famous... If not what makes you really famous?
- I personally don't see Raspatul getting as big as all our influences, but for sure Raspatul is getting some reputation in the international Metal scene. It takes a lot of promotional work to get known, but it's all worth it. I always believe that nobody is going to come knocking at your door and asking to do a review or an interview of your band, or even sign your band. I think what really makes Raspatul 'famous' in some ways is for the fact that we are from Singapore, a place where virtually Metal is almost non-existent to the outside world. Not because we do not have Metal bands here, but because the majority of the bands here don't really do promotional work. We sure have some very good Metal bands here, but I also realized another problem with the bands here is that they tend to focus more on cover songs rather than creating their own original material.
