Let me get this out of the way first... 1.I am not vampire,
2.I sincerely doubt that you are a vampire
3.I do not believe vampires exist or have ever existed
4.Blood fetishists are just plain nasty
5.Please do not email me offering induction into your ever-growing
hordes of the undead

Well, there are many myths as to where the origins of Vampire stories come from. So I will tell you a couple of what is floating around out there:
I believe that the most believable myth on the origins (Or begininngs of the fantasies) of the Vampyr originate with the story of Vlad III Tepes (1431-1476)

Now, there are the myths that say vampires go as far back as Caine, and some believe that Caine Is the father of Vampires. And sad to say, but there are Vampire cults that believe this to be true. They call themselves the kindred... and in recent times it has become a role playing game, and even a tv series for a short time. But I assure you, there are wacky cults that believe in this. With it is a very long history, many different clans: The Nosferatu, Brujah, Ventrue, Toreador, and Gangrel. these are the five main clans, with many more clans. But they all believe in the dark history, and in the end are all followers of Cain. Different clans have different beliefs in the history, I guess different religions.Here is an exerpt from "The book of Nod" the 'belief' of how the Vampire began:

Now there are other Vampire 'cults' that believe this is just a bunch of non-sense, but, they also believe they are 'real' vampires, some do drink blood, and most don't, they refer to them selves as the 'psi-vampire' and believe that it is a psycic quality that makes you a vampire. But here is an exerpt of what he thinks about himself and his kind:

Well there ya have his opinion. honestly, I find it quite amusing, as he also claims his mother is the same as he is, just makes me wonder.
