Holding staff vertically to your right, grasp loosely with right hand low, touching only with tips of thumb and forefinger. Left hand is high with forefinger extended up shaft.
Rotate staff foreward rolling wrists over and continueing until staff hits under right armpit. Lean foreward, letting the tip continue down and arching to your left, coming behind you and back up again. Straighten up then rotate the staff foreward on this side, rolling wrists over, until hitting under left armpit. Lean foreward again to let the tip conintue down and to other side.
