Salmon River Race 2001

       1. Thanks to Sam Whitten (sent e-mail 12:00 Friday              evening ) you have this information:

                     12 Boats signed up 1 boat sank at
                     Black Hawk (c class Kellogg Id.)
                     Team Outlaw out bad wreck
                      out of race. No one was hurt. All
                      this happened on Friday April 20.
               More information as we get it.

                                Bruce Mills dead!
     Things are very sad here at the Salmon River Race. Boat 222 Bruce Mills
flipped his boat and was trapped under it for at least 20 minutes. When we
turned the boat over we found Bruce in the seat. He was pronounced dead. We had a meeting after the crash and decided to stop the race. All racers will gather at the finish line tomorrow April 22 at Black Hawk to say goodbye to
our friend. When we get things sorted out I will let you know the results.
