PRINCESS
Princess was quite the precocious little Lab puppy. Even though she was the littlest pup in the litter she would stand in the door and keep her mom and siblings outside. Princess spent the first two years of her life outside since "Dog do not belong in the house" according to my dad. This lasted until I went away the second summer we had her. When I arrived home, she came in to spend one night with me and has never gone back out :-)! Shhhhhh . . . . . Don't tell my Dad :-)!! Seriously, she is a perfect lady in the house but even now can still out-FRAP (frantic random activity patterns) the puppies. She is the leader of the dogs at my house and keeps everyone in line gently but firmly. Our favorite thing to do is go to the beach -- me to relax and her to swim and chase the sea birds. It is a little harder to get there now since we live "inland" instead of on the coast like we used to. Next to the beach, her favorite place is on the couch preferably next to someone. And her favorite food is whatever you are eating :-)! Unfortunately, Princess passed away on October 20, 2000. The last picture on the page of her was taken 3 weeks before she died. I will always miss her and treasure in my heart her memory! Please take a minute and read her Tribute Poem.
