Welcome, friends, strangers and foes to this humble crevice.

Here you will find various edited journal entries classified under various threads (each corresponding to a different theme) and arranged in logical rather than chronological progression.

Expect some degree of repitition, contradiction and discontinuity, for these are contemplations of a somewhat schizophrenic mind. Be not scornful or surprised at the cynicism here, for it is born of much observation and thought.

Seldom is dogmatic claim to arbitrary truth made here, although truthfulness prevails. Style and content is intensely polarising; some will be entertained, others nauseated. No liability is accepted for damages – perceived or otherwise – against any individual or organisation. Caveat lector.

With regard to spiritual matters, attempts have been made to evenly portray thoughts of the faithful, skeptical, confused and indifferent. Occasionally you will encounter trains of thought which traverse precarious lines between right and wrong, belief and unbelief, piety and blasphemy. But it is hoped that despite (or through) such extravagant, convulsive convolutions, you will see that faith eventually prevails. Apparent contradictions may yet be parallel truths still not unified.

Theological perspectives here are not entirely equivalent with those of every reformed church, although discrepancies are mostly insignificant. Ultimately, the Bible - inspired Word of God - stands on it own merit, above fallible and prejudiced human interpretation, beyond the petty technical squabbles of so-called intellectuals. Caveat Vaticanum. Material here is by no means authoritative; you are strongly requested to personally plumb the scriptures, think and pray.

Socio-political opinions generally appear jaundiced and melodramatic, but are not unreasonably exaggerated. In summary, they are anti-representative, anti-imperialist, anti-communist, anti-fascist, anti-anarchist, anti-military and cynical of democracy.

Thread 7 contains random cursory musings over various issues and disciplines, including music, psychologic, linguistics, science and engineering.

Introspective ramblings are posted largely for comic self-indulgence, and the benefit of readers who enjoy paradoxical nonsense.

Lines of text might cause grievous boredom, but pictures succintly paint a thousand words. The Gallery is updated as frequently as possible with works of art -mediocre or otherwise- and the occassional technical diagram.

Material here may be freely reproduced, provided full reference is cited and detailed notification is sent to [email protected] Portions referenced, and the referencing work i.e. title and/or address of book, article, blog, website etc. should be specified. These terms are simple but significant; they deserve compliance, not contempt.

If necessary, copy relevant text to a word processor before printing. Direct browser printing results in copious ink wastage over the black background. However, white against black offers better contrast, and minimises monitor energy consumption. Green is good. Oil ransom is bad.
