It all started when my son turned 16 As Kathie and I were looking for a car for him. To make a long story short (You can email me for the long version which I here first) we looked and looked and I saw this ad. Went out to see the car, my Daughter (13) just loved it as well as my wife. (I think she knew it would keep me at the old home stead.)  I also liked the car because in 1972 I always wanted one but could not afford one, had to buy a 1972 Pinto runabout. (Hence my CB name of Little John, KIT7216, another story)

To see a photo from some one else's web page with a 72 pinto in the background go here http://members.tripod.com/~RBott/midget1.htm

Purchased the car and believe it or not, after sitting for a year, we put a battery into the car and it started right up! The mice and bees were having a good time with this car as it sat in the woods for a year, then the rust was is the story...

I don't have any before pictures of the rust as in the red car story.  Sitting for a year, the floor boards were mostly gone. Rest was OK.

Part Two, Mostly Pictures... may take longer to load
