Inu Yasha
This is a great series! There are only 13 episodes in the anime (unfinished and all that, the manga is much longer and you can buy it somewhere like animenation). It was created by the same person (Rumiko Takahashi) who made Ranma 1/2. You can get more information about it at Anime Colony.
